Wild Edibles: Native & Non with the Backyard Habitat Certification Program

  • Good Year Farms 29610 SE 23rd St, Washougal, WA 98671 (map)

Join the official Backyard Habitat Certification Program outreach staff at Good Year Farms to learn about edible native and introduced plants already abundant in our yards!

We will learn ethical harvest practices, preparation techniques, and how to help edible native plants thrive.

Attendees will sample a variety of plant inspired dishes, get recipes and resources, and learn more about how the Backyard Habitat Certification program can assist you in your gardening goals.

These classes are a time to get together and learn about stewarding habitat in our time and space. These sessions are designed to be informal and relaxed, so you can bring specific questions or just listen and learn.

Registration required HERE: $31/person - regardless of size or age - *catered breakfast included. It's always incredibly tasty and filling.

*Dietary restrictions will be broadly considered, i.e., there will be GF and vegan options, but we are unable to cater to specific needs.

Class starts at 10:00AM.
