Join the City of Camas: The ivy here has been cut before, but it is climbing back up the trees and very much in need of another round. As usual, we’ll also encounter English holly and other invasives, as well as trash needing to be picked up (quite a bit here, unfortunately).
Meet at the intersection of NW 10th Avenue and NW Ivy Drive (appropriate name, right?!?) https://maps.app.goo.gl/4RYnC68gkTMswctQ9 We’ll have the canopy and sandwich board sign set up, and safety cones along the curb.
PARKING — There is ample parking all along NW 10th Avenue, though be very careful if you need to cross the street. Please don’t cross Forest Home Road — visibility is not great, and drivers often roll through the stop. Instead, walk on the south side of NW 10th Avenue through that intersection area if you park to the west of our sign-in area. Bonus points for anyone who can walk or bike to the meeting spot. I believe that we had three folks bike to a recent event! :)
This is a spectacular spot to spend a Saturday morning (gorgeous big trees and a creek....) and it truly needs some Ivy League care.
