Join the Adventure Society group to explore a magical oasis that awaits you in one of the most pristine river canyons in the PNW. This is a non-technical route that although requires quite a bit of swimming, wetsuits are recommended. No rope needed. (Rentals will be via Portland College this year - will announce how to get a rental closer to this years event.).
This is an off trail/exploration experience. We are not likely to encounter anyone on this trip. If you're not comfortable in places that aren't pathed and populated this is not for you. Spend 4-5 hours going up the canyon and then making our way up to the road for a walk back. The pace will be chill as we expect people to take care around the rocks and swims.
Dry bags are good, as are a second pair of shoes for the ride back. As well as a complete set of dry clothes for when your done
PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Adventure Society organizers are volunteers. We come prepared to lead you on a trail or off trail hike but assume no liability for your safety getting to or from the trailhead or on the hike. In case of accident, illness, or other incapacity, hikers must pay for their own medical and/or evacuation expenses, whether or not the hiker has specifically authorized them.
