Join Vancouver Audubon at @battlegroundpride for a guided bird outing right from the festival!
This outing is for everyone who loves birds regardless of skill level: beginners to experts, all are welcome to explore what birds make their home in downtown Battle Ground.
This outing departs from the Vancouver Audubon table at Battle Ground Pride at 11:30am for a leisurely stroll of roughly 0.75 miles on sidewalks and short lawn grass as we search for soaring Swallows and Swifts in the sky and listen for the songs of Robins and Finches in the trees. Bring binoculars if you have them; we will have a limited number of extra pairs to share. The bird outing will begin and end at Battle Ground Pride, but it proceeds off-site of the event.
This is a free event for all ages!
When: Saturday, August 1st from 11am-4pm (bird outing departs at 11:30am)
Where: Battle Ground Event Center at 912 E Main St, Battle Ground, WA
KN95 Masks are required at the festival when indoors to help create a safer space for immunocompromised and disabled community members. Masks will be provided at the door while supplies last.
