Willamette RiverFest

Check out the Willamette River Festival coming up on August 22 🚣

Folks will gather at the River House Beach in Eugene to experience the Willamette. Join a Paddle Parade, try out paddlecraft, watch (or enter!) a river competition, take a guided rafting trip, or just spend the day along the water.

Events like this are a reminder that a healthy river is more than a resource—it’s a place to explore and build a lasting connection to our waterways. We hope that connection can inspire all of us to be better stewards of the water we share.

The Willamette River Festival is a one-day celebration of recreation and community directly on the banks of Oregon’s iconic river. This event is a collaborative passion project for a variety of organizations in the Eugene-Springfield area, and it provides an opportunity to connect new people to the river in an accessible and fun-filled setting. This year’s festival will feature both on-land and on-water activities, spirited paddling competitions, music, food, and more. We invite you to browse the tabs below to learn more about the River Fest — and we hope to see you out on the river on August 22nd!
