Join Birdhers for our Saturday birding walk 9/12 at 💛Powell Butte💛 9:30am
This location is more of a hike than most of our walks. We’ll start in a shaded large tree forest and hike up to the top open meadow. The 2 ish mile path is uneven dirt with elevation changes and may not be suitable for all.
Meet us at the Ellis Street Trailhead on SE 145th Ave.
Wear sturdy shoes and layers as we’ll be on shaded conifer forest and also sun exposed meadows.
Bring your binoculars if you have them, if not, borrow a pair of ours. We’ll look at nature, learn together and be comforted in the company of others.
