Call for High School Art Submissions Roots & Reflections: The Art of Trees Exhibit


The City of Vancouver Urban Forestry program is inviting high school students in the City to join the Roots & Reflections: The Art of Trees Exhibit.

This exhibition celebrates the beauty, significance and symbolism of trees in our lives and environment. The City invites high school artists to submit works that explore the vital role trees play in nature, culture and our collective imagination.

Art will be displayed at the Fort Vancouver Regional Library’s Cascade Community Library for the month of April.

Artwork that will be accepted: drawings, paintings, poetry, photography and sculpture. Must be ready for display and no larger than 18” X 24" in size.

Must include: Artwork title, artist name, grade and school

Submissions: Give artwork to your horticulture or nature resource teacher by the deadline.
