Thank you for your interest in becoming an Urban Abundance Volunteer! Our mission is to share fresh, local food with neighbors across Clark County, WA, and we couldn’t do it without you.
This week, many hands make light work - and make it more fun, too! SWWA Victory Garden has a community garden in need of a few more eager gardeners. Every Friday, workers will meet to keep the garden growing at its best. When it is time to harvest, produce will be donated to the LULAC (League of Latin American Citizens) Mercado, FISH, and local Free Fridges. Urban Abundance is excited to join SWWA Victory Garden in this project. Register HERE.
How It Works:
Volunteer Opportunities: Email notifications will be sent as harvest events are scheduled.
Harvest List: We’ll be adding opportunities throughout the season. If you know someone with excess produce, whether from backyard fruit trees, a home garden, or a farm, please share this program with them! They can contact us at info@urbanabundance.org to schedule a harvest.
Timing: Because ripening depends on nature’s schedule, gleaning events are announced as soon as fruit is ready.
Registering as a new Volunteer
Click the “Volunteer Registration” button in the top right corner of this page. This will take you to our Volunteer Sign-Up & Liability Release Form.
After completing the form, you’ll receive an email to set up your account password. From there, you can create your volunteer profile, set your availability, and begin signing up for harvests!
Event Day Details
You’ll receive reminders with property addresses and details once your registration is confirmed.
If you have questions or run into issues on the day of an event, please reach out directly to the event lead.
