Pacific Crest Trail Association - Trail Work Project to celebrate National Trails Day @ Big Huckleberry Mountain

Maximum Number of Volunteers: 3

This work party will start near FR60 at Crest Camp/Trailhead, 2.5 miles down FR6801 to a trail access point. We will use a power brusher, electric hedge trimmer, and rake to brush out the trail. We plan to have a long day finishing work around 6 pm.

Physical Requirements: Moderate-Difficult. This project is suitable for individuals in good physical condition and participate in a regular exercise routine. Project components will include one or more of the following: hiking 3-8 miles each day, the trail may be rough, steep, and/or rocky, elevation change over 1000 ft over the course of the hike, moderately physical work activities, and/or backpacking. This project may be physically challenging to some people, participants need to be in good physical condition and aware of their physical abilities and limits before joining this project.
