Planting in Patches with the Pond Hags

  • Good Year Farms Camas, WA (map)

Join the Pond Hags, local habitat builders, for a Planting in Patches class (and brunch) at Good Year Farms!

'Planting in Patches' is a class for those that may be overwhelmed by the idea of how (or even if) to convert their yard to habitat. We will cover some native plants 101 and dive into how to assess what you have to start. We will focus on one small part of your yard and come up with options for plants that will thrive there.

The Pond Hags are habitat landscapers and educators who specialize in water-wise gardening, backyard habitat certification, and native plant design; fellow constituents of the coven.

These classes are a time to get together and learn about stewarding habitat in our time and space. These sessions are designed to be informal and relaxed, so you can bring specific questions or just listen and learn.

Registration is required HERE. $31/person - regardless of size or age - *catered breakfast included. It's always incredibly tasty and filling.

*Dietary restrictions will be broadly considered, i.e., there will be GF and vegan options, but we are unable to cater to specific needs.

Class starts at 10:00AM.
