Managing Tree Risk Workshop for Homeowners

  • Marine Park 4500 SE Columbia Way (map)

Ever look at your tree—or a neighbor’s—and wonder if it’s healthy or safe?

Learn how to recognize and manage hazardous trees and what certified arborists who are qualified Tree Risk Assessors look for when evaluating trees.

This workshop covers common warning signs, hazard potential, and focuses on practices that promote long-term tree health. Gain practical knowledge to make informed decisions about care, safety, and when to call a tree expert.

This workshop will include an indoor presentation followed by an outdoor hands-on exercise led by local tree care professionals.

Registration is required: Contact Urban Forestry at trees@cityofvancouver.us
