Join the Confluence Project NW and the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership, local Indigenous partners, and the US Forest Service as we work together on the repatriation and rematriation of the Sandy River Delta.

This work is being done through land tending and traditional cultural and ecological knowledge focused on enhancement and rehabilitation of traditional harvesting areas, Indigenous foods gathering area within the conservation area. Collaborate with us while we work in community, spend time learning, and tend to native plants for cultural use to help them thrive!

• All ages and abilities are welcome. No prior experience is necessary. Please let us know if you need accommodations to participate due to language, disability, or other additional needs.

• Youth aged 15+ may volunteer without an adult present.

Accessibility: A 1.25-mile gravel ADA trail (one -way). The project will be off this trail on uneven ground. 

We'll provide: Tools, gloves, and snacks. 

Please bring:  Drinking water, sun protection, snacks or a sack lunch, and footwear you don’t mind getting a little damp and muddy.
