In this Master Gardener presentation, attendees will learn how to select healthy tubers, identify eyes and growth points, and prepare soil that provides the warmth, drainage, and nutrition dahlias demand. We’ll explore proper planting depth, spacing for strong airflow, and techniques to avoid common pitfalls such as rot or slow sprouting. The session also highlights early staking, and watering strategies.
