Explore Your Watershed storymap has a new look!

In 2018, Clark County and Stormwater Partner of SW Washington received a grant to create an interactive watershed map. They launched the Explore Your Watershed storymap in 2020 in conjunction with new watershed signs that are found throughout the county where streets cross streams. There has been a recent revamp and we invite you to take a look.

As the name suggests, the map is intended to be a resource for residents and students explore their watersheds, find recreational opportunities, learn about local wildlife, see stream health data, understand threats to water quality and discover ways they can be part of the solution. “We hope the Explore Your Watershed storymap helps Clark County residents feel a sense of place and connection to their watershed, in their daily lives and especially as stewards.”, says Eric Lambert, Clark County Clean Water Outreach Specialist and lead author of the map.
